Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall | September Announcements
This summer has been full of changes and we are excited to announce some of the projects we have been working on. As you may have noticed, the gym had a bit of a makeover with new equipment and a mural- but the new additions don't stop there. Starting September 4th there will be a new class schedule, which you can view here. We also have a new class and trainer- welcome to the team, Sam!
Meet The Trainer: Sam Eldridge
Devoting her career to creating healthy lifestyle behaviors for the adaptive and inclusive community, her experience working with physical and mental limitations has allowed her to gain knowledge in injury prevention, corrective exercises and adaptive modifications. Sam graduated with a B.S in Kinesiology from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in Public Health from Southern Illinois University. While in school, she played rugby and coached girls gymnastics in addition to working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Sam is certified through ACSM, EXOS, USA Powerlifting, TRX and Schwinn Indoor Cycling. Outside of coaching, Sam trains in powerlifting and Olympic lifting and works full-time for Wounded Warrior Project. Sam aims to create a positive, encouraging training environment and individualizes programs to help clients move and feel better.
Suspension + Bodyweight Class:
Suspension is an innovative method of body weight training designed to develop core stability, strength, balance, and flexibility. Originally created by Navy SEALs, suspension training delivers a fast, effective total-body workout that can be easily modified to benefit all fitness levels. In this class, you’ll leverage gravity and body weight to perform hundreds of exercises! Classes will be lead by both Sam and Jimmy.

Throughout September coaches will be meeting with members one-on-one for consultations for a current health evaluation, in addition to goal setting and creating a plan to achieve benchmarks.
Run club will meet every Tuesday and Saturday in September. All experience levels are welcome!
