Overall Fitness/ Health Improvement
Growing up, Kevin was an athlete-playing a multitude of sports, but primarily playing basketball. During his high school hoops run, he was always looking to put in extra work in the weight room and ended up taking interest in strength and conditioning. Upon graduation, he needed a new outlet where he could fulfill his competitive drive. Once he was introduced to CrossFit, he was once again able to go head-to-head with others, albeit in a different setting. But now, instead of wanting to learn how to gain an edge on the competition, he wanted to teach others how to benefit from exercise and healthy competition. Since then, he has dived straight into becoming a fitness professional by completing various workshops and certifications from the Onnit Academy such as their Foundations and Kettlebell courses, and the Viking Ninja Systems Steel Mace and Bodyweight certs. While general fitness is his area of expertise, he is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as the next step in his journey as he pursues his goal of one day opening his own facility.
If you happen to drop in to one of his classes you’ll notice another one of his passions in music. He loves to hype up our MSP members by playing hip-hop and reggaeton.
